The Regeneration Centre
Welcome to the Regeneration Centre of Grow Community Grow. For the past four years, we have been developing this off-grid permaculture hub, serving as a community lighthouse and event/workshop space. Constructed primarily from upcycled materials, our progress has been steady, with ongoing efforts to enhance the site.
Our main Regeneration Centre features permanent staff accommodations, a community kitchen, compost toilets, outdoor shower, and facilities for volunteers and guests, along with our pilot community vegetable garden, and most recently the Outeniqua Stone Circle.
We are gradually reforesting the area with indigenous trees and promoting the natural growth of rare fynbos by removing invasive species such as wattle, blackwood, bugweed, and inkweed.
Additionally, we have rescued three horses who are now thriving on the land and contributing to our compost efforts.
